Now let me get something straight first, I miss the 'real' trolls. I personally never see trolls anywhere, but the few times I do they're just jackasses harassing others who then whine "It was just a joke! Grow some thick skin!" when they get in trouble. But back in the day I remember seeing people who would just throw around dumb takes, obviously wrong statements, act as a strawman and see who takes the bait. You couldn't help but laugh at someone deciding to use their time to just post pointless things for a reaction, which this might be bad but seeing someone take the bait would be funny too.
It was always harmless fun though, it's just people saying something stupid to bait other stupid people. They were also very easily handled by regular users as well, so I often seen trolls dealt with and gotten rid of by normal everyday users. But I never see this anymore. I'm probably a weirdo but I just get so bored and tired seeing the same exact people saying the exact same things nearly everyday. Like I just need a little sprinkle of irregularity to spice up my reading when I wanna waste time.

Be the change you want to see in the world :P Sometimes I'll post flame bait on a forum or discord and watch the carnage, it's harmless and very funny
Sadly I feel like I'm not witty enough to be funny. I can only say bottom of the barrel stuff that instead makes people feel the need to educate me.
Flashbacks to me saying "I love men" as a reply to "I hate men" was enough for someone to type a mini paragraph over it
