so this isnt important to the lore at all, BUT I HAVENT SEEN ANYONE TALK ABOUT HOW SPRINGLOCKS WORK???

Hence the name, they must be spring based, so i personally think theres a mettle peice with a spring around it (sorta like pens) and then a small metal peice holding back the springs, this keeps it so when its in suit mode it doesnt stab anyone, and like in the books, if you reach inside a part (like how in book 1 on the comics charlie reaches into the rabbit head ahd unhooks smth) you can unhook the thing and release them
