First School Program Of the Year ☃️💎

It's that time of year again when we all crowd in a hot school gymnasium to watch our littlest family members sit huddled on a floor and attempt to see them through the other rows of children. 

There's not a lot to say about school programs, I have nieces and nephews spanning over four schools, and two of them aren't performing a school Christmas program- which is so odd to me, because if you're removing all COVID restrictions and doing everything normally- why not an actual school play? ┐(ﾟ ～ﾟ )┌

I went ahead and dressed up, I worked that day so I spent the downtime doing my makeup and hair. I wore my Unique Vintage dress! Totally not the one I wanted, I was so hell-bent on the green Gingerbread one that's sold out. My heart literally breaks for it! (╥﹏╥)

But the blue snowflake dress I went ahead and got is really comfortable! The sleeves are itchy of course.

I really like the look! I used my manga lashes from Aliexpress and they literally looked so good, my favorite colors are pink and green but I rock blue! *⁂((✪⥎✪))⁂*

The night before I bought the supplies and made three children's flower bouquets, made with hot glue, hope, and love. ʚ♡⃛ɞ(ू•ᴗ•ू❁) Also dollar tree supplies but I don't think they'll last regardless, I just wanted to make their first plays since COVID special. Auntie style!! 

The play seemed SUPER rushed and disorganized, the children didn't know their lines and one niece did not know any songs, she sat there awkwardly, I told her to mouth words and fake the performance but she didn't want to lie so I can try and respect it. 

So I wasn't expecting Broadway by any means but it seems like they had it super early this year and the kids only had a week to practice. Seems unfair to the kids, honestly. It was a bit disjointed but at least one of my nieces was having fun dancing and singing loud to the songs. 

After the play, we stayed behind so I can give the children flower bouquets! (⺣◡⺣)♡*

I didn't get a very good photo of my nieces and nephew receiving them, but they were all very happy with them. Particularly my nephew, he's never been given flowers and was so happy to have this experience. I was so happy to be a part of the experiences. ٩( ^ᴗ^ )۶

I didn't get many more pictures, I simply went home and relaxed after. It was a wonderful way to start off the Christmas season. I still have two more programs to go to and my niece has a ballet performance this week also. I can't wait to share more memories with the people I love.
