Why is art valued at such high pricing? Don't get me wrong, the Mona Lisa definitely took a while and should be admired, but that's more sentimental than literal value. How much did it cost to even make? It SELLS for £/$ 800+ MILÂ
Oh and also, why pay to SEE ART ALONE. JUST ART, NOTHING MORE, NOTHING LESS. You can see and heck, even PRINT the paintings. Do you HAVE to see it up close?Â
Yeah, maybe I just don't know what value art holds. But surely it doesn't deserve being stared at at the cost of your wallet, credit cards, etc etc.
It isn't like you can't see art in the comfort of your own home. People just build it up to make it seem like more than it is. Art is beauty, but you don't look at beautiful things up down left right and center just for the sake of "Yeah I saw the Mona Lisa that one time."
Yeah, I'm convinced everyone has. Just not the original thing, in the ink. I guess it's kinda cool, but art museums seem soooo boringgguh-.
