Current Projects, Future Projects

I have a tendency to pile on projects even while other projects are in the process, even coming up with ideas Id like to jump on immediately and put aside other unfinished work. I suppose that's the curse of an adhd brain.

This is a blog detailing projects Im currently working on, in the process of/on hold or would like to work on in the future.

--The website:

https://agentredjackal.blogspot.com/

Currently under construction but meant as a central hub for all of the work Ive finished and all social media links. It was meant to mimic gaudy aesthetics of the 90s, so I had to tweak and even break certain parts of Blogger's blog theme/layout to get the look I wanted.

At the moment, the only pages that are accessible are a page with me Twitch stream embedded, the shop (something I was approached by FourthWall about), a page where I archive old game content I used to host in the past and a guestbook with MS Paint embedded at the bottom.

-- Oura, an android-based VRChat avatar commissioned by a friend

It's in its final stages and requires some additions.

-- An extraction/port of the mining area and Ricardo Irving's "office" from Resident Evil 5

It's my hope that I can get this ported to VR Chat as both an RE5-themed hangout/RP map and a place to host any Resident Evil based avatars in the future

--Globe-bito VRC Avatar

Its just a shitpost avatar and literally a sphere that plays a gif of a dancing spanish clown and the music that goes with it, also some extra things you can do to make it wobble, vibrate and float. I plan to add other clown related things to it sometime, such as RanRanRu and the Venezuelan troupe of singing clown women from the 90s

--The Shop

https://agentredjackal-shop.fourthwall.com/

As a content creator, I was approached by FourthWall to make use of their site, which acts like a hub for streamer/youtuber content and their merch. So I thought Id give it a try. Im a small streamer, so Im a bit aimless as to what to put on the store in relation to my streams. You start out by doing on-demand printable products and move up from there. There are many items that are also requestable(and require you to work with staff on designs for said products).

I have a few items Im working on and hope to open the shop sometime in the future.

--A contribution to something in the vein of Soap Soup, a collaborative fan mod of Soup (a mini homage to LSD Dream Emulator itself)

This project is currently on hold and I cant say much about it yet but I do want to see if I can get atleast one more room out when it continues.

You can find Soap Soup here, the previous project I contributed a room to:

--A collaborative music event in 2023

While for me its mainly just the planning and pulling a few musicians/visual artists in the Vinesauce community together, I do intend to contribute my own tracks(mostly old) and visuals.

I don't have a hard date set for this yet; Im aiming for January but I prefer to be flexible and allow as much time needed.

--The SpaceHey Blog

I think things for traditional scroll-and-doom media is going to change quite a bit in the next few years (if it hasnt already given the situation at twitter/tiktok etc) based on various reports about usage and possible laws being considered, so I think switching over my personal non-stream content to a place where I can post what Im working on would be for the best. I feel like hangout groups in discord have become more of the go-to place for people to drop whatever in a less public space. And maybe that will become more the norm in the future.

As for everything else currently, Im always catching up to VOD uploads of my Twitch streams, clip/highlights and personal videos of created content on youtube channels, so that's an endless endeavor.

Future projects:

Things Id like to work on, but have no set date or guarantee that I'll actually ever start or complete them

-- Ports of maps from Shin Megami Tensei V and Resident Evil Revelations to VRChat

Both of these games are favorites of mine (among many games that I like) and they have some beautiful areas Id like to experience in VR. Extracting/porting maps from SMTV isnt too much of a problem, but Revelations is a bit more tricky since the methods Im using to extract/convert RE5 maps doesnt quite work. So its going to involve a bit more research and troubleshooting.

Id like maps from both to also be ways to host avatars from said games as well.

--A mod of Placid Plastic Duck Simulator

Ideally it would be more than just a texture swap for the ducks and involve some new parts added, but I have to figure out how to re-inject assets into new Unity games. I would like to work on this, but its quite a project and may not get to it until way in the future, if at all.

--Something involving a game store and AI generated content

I dont want to spoil the idea for this one but its pretty much mapped out in my map

The issue is more the time it would take to dedicate, as any big project

This one would be a personal idea Id like to work on for once, considering the amount of fan content Ive worked on.
