BENNY NEVER PAID ATTENTION (Creepy Story I found)

Benny was a man of happiness.

There wasn't a worry in the world for benny.

He always paid his rent on time, he lived with his girlfriend in a 2 bedroom apartment situated in a great part of town.

Things seemed wonderful for benny, but, benny never paid attention. 

Benny had run over cats, dogs, squirrels who ran into the road more often than you'd think.
Not on purpose, of course. 

But, because he just couldn't pay attention to anything for more than a few minutes.
This wasn't much of a problem for benny though.

It never got him into too much trouble as his accidents were never TOO serious.
And one day, benny was heading home from work.
He was a nurse at a hospital and often had to work overtime if it were crowded.
He did recieve some nice overtime pay so he never complained but he always tired when he worked that long.

Not tired, EXHAUSTED. But when he was exhausted, he couldnt pay attention at all!

So, he didn't notice the slender, pale man slithered into the backseat floor of his car.

When he got into the driver's seat, he didn't notice the man match his door opening and closing.

He didn't notice the man wait outside, staring inside, waiting until the lights were off to slither through the open window.

He didn't notice the man quietly get into his room. 

He didn't notice the man looming over them for hours and..

He didn't notice the knife come down, stabbing the couple with a few swift swings.
Benny never knew that he died.

He never paid attention.

But then he felt okay because benny never knew.

And did you hear the man slither inside of your house while reading this? 
Of course not.

You weren't paying attention. :)
