Journal

Welp, journal time again. I was hyped up by a co-woker being told that today was gonna be a bit rough with a whole bunch of work. Surprisingly not the case... yet. I'm only halfway through the day so we'll see. Night before

I was talking with a new guy a friend of mine introduced, dude did not know when to stop talking, went on and on. My friend says he's nice just a bit clueless, hoping that's the case...

Been using mastadon and I realize I don't really like micro-blogging sites, like at all. I think it's just the drama and the effort it takes to make a nice timeline. At least mastadon is just chronological instead of whatever is happening on the bird app. One problem is that the server I'm using is hosted by a friend and they have it set up mainly to show content from furry instances. Which is fine up to the point where furry content is 99% of what I can see. It's kinda funny more-so than a problem but I miiight ask them to add a few other sources of content.

Soon enough I'm gonna have a new computer and its gonna be running linux, so that's gonna be fun. I've used it before, don't hate it but its not what I've spent the most time with(living with papa windows at the moment). Should either be fun or mind-numbing. Cron has me excied though since it seems way easier to use than whatever weird crap you have to do in windows to run something on a schedule... I'll let you know how it pans out.
