everytime i fckn have a rough time, i listen 2 elvis. n listen- i kno wht he did wuz bad but fuckkkkkkkkkkkkk hes so sexy it hurtz. like whenever i bring up elvis, like "i love elvis." their genuine reaction is either, "me 2 X33" "his music is mid." "he's literally a child molester." like ok I KNOW
i fucking KNOWok like ie know he was fuckn w 14-15 year oldz. but his music makes me happy like so freaking happy. and i hate it. its a burden. every1 hatez elvis at my school, and they r like "ohh he fucking sux." like yea bitch.. he cheated on priscilla [his wife] multiple times throughout their marriage, and like groomed her, n alot of girlz. but yk what bitch..
i see him as a person thts not real. i like the vision of elvis in my head, a sexy rockstar. but if u think abt it he isnt even a rockstar. he did everything, ppl call him the king of rock n roll, n im like .. what. he did country, blues, n stole from black ppl.
its funny bc im mixed as well, [black n white] like this is silly as hell.. but i still luv his music. like gaf abt elvis himself. hes dead, no?? he can b whatevr i want now.
is this wrong?? should i stop?? his music helps me cope.

I don't see how it matters, personally. It's not like he'll benefit from your patronage, since he's, y'know, dead.
I disagree with just readjusting your perception of him to match a comfortable image though, what happened happened and his listeners just have to contend with that.
i understand this. this was more of a question, but i think this answers it. maybe readjusting my perception is wrong. thank u.
