so excited for this summer!!

THIS SUMMER IS GONNA BE AMAZING!!

like i know it's kind of silly to get so excited for something that's not for another six months, and i should focus on the present, but there are just so many things to look forward to

first of all, like it happens every year, EUROVISION!!! if u dont know what eurovision is, that's super valid, but u should know what it is. it's a yearly song contest where countries from all over europe participate!! that's a gross oversimplification, so maybe i'll make a eurovision infodump blog at some point. but i can't wait!!
one really big thing about this year's eurovision is that the semifinals are completely popular vote, which means that only the people control what happens, AND THE WHOLE WORLD CAN TELEVOTE
THAT MEANS I CAN VOTE!! i'm from america, so before, we aren't allowed to vote cause we're not participating, but this year everyone can televote!! im really excited and im gonna make all my friends and family get involved. 

secondly-- OUR FLAG MEANS DEATH SEASON TWO!!!!
I CANNOT EVEN BEGIN TO EXPLAIN HOW EXCITED I AM FOR SEASON 2. ofmd is my current hyperfixation (along with this site lol) and it's my favorite thing ever!! our flag means death is a romantic comedy/historical fiction about pirates in the golden age of piracy!! it follows stede bonnet, an aristocrat who left his family to become a pirate captain, but is kinda ill-equipped for it. and by kinda i mean a lot. it's a great found family story, it's super funny, but the sad bits also hit SUPER hard. i'm gonna make a full infodump blog about it as well, so look out for that.
BUT IM SO EXCITED FOR SEASON TWO. the way that season one left off was so crazy, and without giving any spoilers, i'm just so excited for new adventures, sappy reunions, and people coming back from the dead. cause they were never really dead in the first place. obviously!! i have soooo many theories too. i just want to see more canon content for my favorite found family of silly gay pirates,,,, i love them so much. they're the best

third: good omens season two!!! to be entirely honest i didn't think this would even happen, really. when i was hyperfixated on it back in 2019 i was content with the limited series and the book, and honestly, im so curious for what the new season will hold! i've heard it's supposed to be more rom-com married life stuff which ineffable husbands my beloved!!!! i love them so much. so ofc more content for them will be great. i do wanna see more out of adam and the them though, and the other angels and demons, because cmon, they were iconic. i have absolutely NO idea what's gonna happen and i love that surprise! 

fourth: POTENTIALLY SUMMERFEST??
my dad said that if the lineup was good, he might take me to summerfest again this year!! it's a music festival, the biggest one in the world!! it lasts for 3 weekends and has its own dedicated concert grounds. we went to summerfest over this summer and it was FANTASTIC-- we saw charli xcx, death cab for cutie, zola jesus, the warning, chiiild, and more that i can't remember the names of, lolz. we got the BEST noodles too, they were like 10 dollars a cup though :,) 
and i would love to go again!! he said i could bring a friend even!!! i really really hope the lineup is good cause i DESPERATELY wanna go again. if we don't go to summerfest though maybe i can push for another festival!! 

and finally: what we do in the shadows season five!!!
i just got into wwdits, but i LOVE IT SO MUCH. my silly ass when taika waititi projects,,, i lose my entire mind. nadja and nandor are the loves of my entire life. i haven't even finished season 1 yet but i'm working on it haha watching it with my dad, so it's going slow. but if we switch to watching a different show im gonna binge it >:3

SO THERE WE GO!! that's everything i'm excited for for the summer!!
