It's pretty intentional! I like that I somewhat know each of my friends on here. At one point I made an effort to try and have a conversation with every person who added me. Stopped rigidly doing that because things got weird in my life for a short bit, but I still read everyone's bulletins every day and I'm subscribed to a choice few blogs (yours is actually one of them). I probably wouldn't be able to keep up if I had tons of friends, that said I wouldn't completely reject new request. Spacehey is my favorite social media at the moment and I've made more actual friends on here in a couple months than I have on reddit or tumblr in years.
