Yuri Mondays

Okay so i decided that im gonna be doing this silly goofy thing called Yuri Monday. Every other monday i will be reading one gl manga and writing my thoughts and feelings on it ere.

Todays victim is Whisper Me a Love Song by Eku Takeshima. 

I haven't read all of the parts yet but i defnitely will be. Reading it transported me to that magical time in elementary school when i was first discovering what a lesbo is. It made me smile, cringe, get filled with anxiety, convulse around my room, shit, piss, throw up and such. 

The main characters (Yori and Himari) have this cute cat girl x puppy girl dynamic going on which is really cute. Theres girls playing on instruments if thats fun to you. 

The bad things about this manga i think is mainly the general vibe of "0///0 i-im a g-girl and i l-like other g-g-girls..?? KYAA" that most yuri manga has its just something to deal with.

Other thing that makes me real nervous is the plot that revolves around Yori missunderstanding Himari saying that she "fell in love at first sight" as a love confession when what she really meant is that she fell in love with her singing voice and guitar skill.  But hey thats just the plot they'll end up together at some point later just not in the first part. 

Im gonna read the rest of the parts lalter at some point and i will rate the whole thing but for now its a 7/10.
