hello, my name is lauren...! i'm eighteen, i use it/its pronouns (they/any aux), and my favorite band is radiohead. i am their biggest fan in the world! i enjoy anything related too zoology, ecology, paleontology, or evolutionary biology, and my biggest hobby other than listening to music is vivarium/terrarium and aquarium keeping. i love splatter horror movies, and my favorite movie is saw (2004). i enjoy the whole franchise, even if it's a little silly ... :-)

i am here to express my thoughts, opinions, and daily happenings in my life. i may post about living with obsessive-compulsive disorder and long-term depression, but otherwise i like to have fun. i won't post quite as often on here as i do on tumblr, but i'm trying to be more active as that site goes under. i'm not really sure what i'm going to do on here yet, i guess we'll find out together :P

i block liberally and often for reasons sometimes as simple as "i think you're unfunny and don't want to run the risk of you commenting unfunny things on my profile." i am very reluctant to accept most friend requests and even when i do i may backtrack and un-add some people, sorry! it's really nothing personal, i promise!

if we do DNIs over here, then i'd like to ask that terfs, radfems, and other transphobes/misogynists stay away, as well as self-harm or eating disorder bloggers. i don't care if you're "not pro, just venting," -- when you send a friend request or interact with my profile you're exposing me to it. i will immediately report you. i block "proshippers," "anti-antis," or whatever you're calling yourselves these days.
