the allure of isolation

in lieu of my thoroughly collapsing social life in the city, i find myself drawn to the delicious idea of isolation ....... !

perhaps i shall become a recluse ... wear normal clothes, stop leaving the house, devote my time to reading and writing and watching awful daytime television, maybe take up sewing or something.

i could learn something from it maybe, but i really doubt it. i just feel like i've been completely drained of all my energy and embracing this weird " loner " lifestyle sounds marginally better than walking on eggshells to please my narcissistic and severely unstable ex.

i feel as if also this information is far too intimate for me to be putting up on the internet, at the liberty of complete strangers, but poly styrene said it best:
