Earthspark Megatron

Just a messy ramble about my feelings over Megatron in ES. I think it starts to not make sense because I'm a bit woozy from medicine and being sick lol

Earthspark Megatron is what MTMTE Megatron wishes he was. As much as I love a stupid, sappy, pathetic old Megatron, which Earthspark still has attributes from, I by far prefer this characterization; the convoluted mess of being in the middle of trying to gain humanity's trust, being a Decepticon at heart and wanting what's best for his faction regardless of what the cons think (the miscommunication with Soundwave and Ravage, for example), and dealing with the whole thing with Optimus and GHOST. There were a lot of similarities with how MTMTE was characterized, however Earthspark's Megatron keeps attributes of his past without complete disregard of his fellow comrades. Minus his brutality in battle and leadership, Megatron still has the Decepticons at heart, such as trying not to harm the cassettes (basically his children lol), really really wanting Soundwave to see that no, he is not an autobot, he does not and WILL not identify with them. I want what's best for everyone. It's clear, with his lacking in trust of GHOST ESPECIALLY after seeing how they treat the cons once they are captured. There's so much I could go into with JUST TEN EPISODES and he forever lives in my brain now
