✧ Daily Log — #11

good morning passengers, this is captain ace speaking.

what to say, what to say. a lot has happened this week. mentally and physically, it's been pretty bad. turns out when you ignore assignments they come to bite you in the ass later, to the point where you seriously consider just giving up and much darker things. thankfully, i stuck it through and i'm here now on saturday.

in terms of jerma, well some very fun stuff has happened. he's recently been streaming darktide, and as much as i'm not incredibly interested in those types of games, the people he's been playing with make it very worth while. he's played with criken, ster, vinny, strippin, and vrjosh as well! i love it when he plays multiplayer, everyone always has great energy.

he, strippin and ster actually played a d&d sort of game the other day! it was called wildemyth, i think? i'm probably remembering the spelling wrong, but it was very fun. it's sort of like a procedural randomly-generated d&d game, but it's all online. the three of them were amazing together, and jerma and ster's characters even got married and had a son (before ster's character cheated on him with strippin's..).

yesterday jerma and austinshow had a stream that was so god damn funny. austin usually plays flight simulator on his other streaming channel, and a bit ago he did an irl stream where he and hasan got into a real plane cockpit and used the instruments to play flight simulator. yesterday, he invited jerma along to play, and they raised money for a very lovely charity that helps under-represented folks get the proper training for the airline industry!

it's now december, which is both fun and not fun to think about. i like the idea of the year ending, having a break from school, going on a trip with my family. what i don't like is what comes after, my future, the fact that this is my last year in school. it's a bit daunting, and i'm worried i'm not going to keep up with my school work, but i'll give it my best try.

i still have three assignments left before i'm free from school hell. one of them i'm already 3/4 parts done, which is a lifesaver. the other is a test, so i'll just have to study a bit for that. the other is for my legal work class, and is the one i am not looking forward to at all. it's massive and it's lame, and it makes me wish i didn't choose this class when i was picking my subjects. i really don't like legal, the coursework sucks, but it's far too late to change it now. 

as for this weekend, tomorrow i have another session with my ttrpg group. that will be so fun, we left on a cliff hanger last weekend. today, i plan to maybe make my carrd look a little better! also another edit, though i don't have a specific idea just yet.
