So I have an existential horror ARG series on youtube that I've been working on and uploading for almost 2 years now and had been in the works for almost a decade. Recently a group FINALLY found their way into a secret chatroom I had set up before I even started uploading. Before this, I was perfectly happy with making the videos and not really caring to get high views or anything, just as long as some people watched and enjoyed it. I'd get 16-30 views a video and was okay with that. Now that this group is here, they've been trying to solve the puzzles and it has made me so excited, more than I could have imagined. However, there's only about 7 people in there currently, only 3-4 are active most of the time, and they seem to be more focused on the codes and puzzles rather than the massive story I had planned out. I feel bad for wanting more but when they first got in, it was so nice seeing them theorize together about something I made and I don't particularly want to switch my content to JUST codes and puzzles with story being on the backburner or made to keep disbelief.
I just hope, eventually, I'll get to see people finally piece it all together.
