I lost huge respect for Kanye but his music still hits hard.

Ever since he made controversial statements about certain races and people it has damaged his reputation as an artist and person. Defenders be saying: "Oh its because he has bipolar and his mom is dead." But personally this excuse does not defend him in anyway because even though he has those problems, he is no delusional to not be aware of what he is doing. Hopefully Kanye truly changes as a person and his mental health will proceed to be in a better state.
