That happened to me. I met a boy that gave me the attention, no one ever showed interest on knowing me, specially boys. I was so scared because i never had any interaction with boys, so i just started ignoring him, he got tired and stopped talking to me.

Then i ''felt in love'' with him, i couldn't get him off of my head, but it was too late, when i started showing him some effort of my interest in him, he just ignored me.

Months after I realized that i wasn't in love because i barely knew him, i was obsessed because he gave me a little bit of attention and every day depending on how much attention he gave me i was happier or sadder so i was emotionally depending of him.

Be careful and really think if it's love or just the obsession of him being with you because you need to feel loved.
