Holidays don't feel the same anymore???

Is it just me or do holidays just not feel the same anymore? Halloween was just yesterday, but it felt nothing like Halloween. It didn't feel spooky at all during October D: Then again, I also didn't do anything to celebrate, I just had a movie night with my family while my friends were out partying or working. It hasn't felt like Christmas in years either, nothing feels the same. Christmas is my favorite tho, so I'm gonna do everything I can to make sure it feel christmassy this year !!
