I was at Walmart the other day just minding my own business, checking out some products on the shelves. When I felt a strong presence next to me. I look up and there was this woman with a huge smile on her face.
I know you .. she says.
I do get around .. was my reply.
No seriously, are you some sort of movie star ?
Ssshhh, don’t say it too loud because people will start asking for my autograph.
Woman freaks out, jumps up and down and raises down the aisle and yells to her friend..Mary, Mary come here quick there’s a movie star at the aisle over. Then, I hear another woman who catches wind of the news and say .. movie star ! Where is he ?
This is what I get for acting like a wise guy. I dart in and out of several aisles till the coast is clear. Suddenly, I hear the store microphone come on advertising a sale on aisle#7 curiosity gets the best of me and I wonder over to see what the sale is all about.
When I get there, the women look over at my direction and one yells out .. that’s the actor I was telling you about. Fearing that all hell was about to break lose, I run down the store, spot an exit door. As I walk out to safety, I hear the store microphone come on and say .. Elvis just left the building.
