Assassin's Creed Unity

This game is one of the later Assassin's Creed games that I think actually makes you feel like an assassin, and I also feel like it's probably one of the most unique as well. Your story takes place during the French Revolution, a general time of despair for many, and a perfect opportunity for an assassin to do business. The game has general features that most Assassin's Creed games have (except for the newer open world games such as Odyessy or Valhalla). However, in my opinion, this game showcases these features masterfully, and teaches them to you seamlessly in a way that I feel like the newer games haven't been able to reproduce. Hopefully Mirage will break the cycle, but for now, I feel like this game does things much better than newer Assassin's Creed games.

Half Life 2

Half Life 2, along with the series as a whole, is still absolutely relevant. I only put it here because most talk about the Half Life series I see nowadays is related to HLVRAI, and I don't see much discussion around the game itself without having to deliberately look for it. I think this is disappointing considering this is, in my opinion, one of the best and most transformative first person shooters to ever hit the market. The visuals, physics, sound, and much more about it were simply unmatched in 2004. To put this in perspective, this was the year when GTA: San Andreas and Halo 2 were released. These games were made by major game studios, and both look dated today. And yet, Half Life 2's engine still is used to this day in games such as Team Fortress 2, CS:GO, and Apex Legends.

Holdfast: Nations at War

Holdfast is a great game to bullshit around in. It has an extremely active fanbase with tons of regiments (groups that you partake in), and surprisingly accurate musket-era warfare gameplay, a rarity among modern shooter games. The game also has a lot custom mods that can change the game in all kinds of ways. I don't really know what to put here I'm running out of ideas help
