the worse 'murican holiday

thanksgiving has GOT to b one of the WORST american exclusive holidays . and i know most other people agree with me !! the corner stones of this holiday are a) eating b) political discourse and c) prayers 

B and C i honestly could do without, but dont mind to dabble in . but A ? i appreciate the days off , but damn , do we really need more holidays centered around eating ??  for context , as a proud soulaan , literally EVERY holiday is an eating holiday . any holiday and or birthday in summer is a cookout holiday . any holiday in the fall or winter is a make-food-and-invite-half-ur-family-over holiday . im not complainin in the slightest , but jeez theres only so much soul food a girl can take !! my soul is too healed to fail atp , i pawmise u !! 

anyway , my main gripe with thanksgiving is that its all about eating . literally nothin else . maybe a football game or two but u dont get to set explosives on fire like forth of july or actually eat things that taste good like at a birthday party . whyyy america , whyyyy ???
