Music - Making a band (pt.1)

I've been thinking about making a band for a very long time and over the past two weeks i've come up with a band name and made the logo. i'm going to get a guitar and start learning how to play as soon as possible. i really want to make music and have it sound like a mix of deftones, SOAD, and mayhem. they're my biggest inspirations in music and i look up to the bands. If the band idea works out i want to play the guitar and (if possible) be the lead vocalist, id have to look for a drummer, another vocalist, another guitarist, and maybe someone who can help make the music sound better. my close friend knows how to produce music since she sings and makes music, i might have her be another vocalist because she also likes the same music as me. i really want to be a cool artist / band who makes recognizable music that everyone will like. i know not everyone will like it but if people like me hear it id hope they like my music. 

I think making music will make me happy, ive been down in the dumps and i love listening to music and trying to get to understand it. so if i made my own music maybe id feel happier, like something i really want in life is to be popular, like as in social media popular. if making music helps with that id be reaching my goal. 

id probably make covors of songs, like korn, deftones and some other bands i like.
