first up

I'll be honest. I don't really know how to blog.

I love the idea of cyberspace; the internet as an ever-expanding frontier where anyone who wants to can completely customize their virtual reality. It's wormed its way into my head, and I mourn the loss of the old forums I enjoyed as a kid when I was too young to have any business on forum websites.

But blogging is entirely out of my comfort zone.

I guess if I'm going to start learning HTML, getting into oldweb revival circles, and putting myself out there, I'd better start somewhere. I'm not really sure if I'm doing this right.

There's no "how to" guide for speaking your piece on the internet. I was never a fan of Twitter, and tumblr is... well, it's tumblr. It's very difficult to describe tumblr succinctly. 

I guess I'm just rambling now, dipping my toes into the artform. Maybe I'll get better as time goes on. Maybe I'll get worse. Maybe I'll just abandon it like I do most things I take an interest in.
