i hate everything about the modern internet.
i dont think ill ever understand how any of its profitable. none of the big tech companies would be profitable if people were smart enough to use an adblocker.
i genuinely dont get how most people function with so few braincells. must be nice.
how did we go from everyone using kazaa to noone knowing how to google "spiderman 123movies"?

>i dont think ill ever understand how any of its profitableHere's the kicker. Most of it isn't. It's investors not knowing most of it isn't profitable and throwing money at dumb shit. It's basically the same kind of investment crypto usually ends up being, except regular Joe's don't get in on it.
in fact I am fairly sure the main reason we see so many ads is just to salvage those investments somehow
and the reason ad providers pay is to our current knowledge actually bots
so yea, we're once again in an internet bubble like we were back in the
.comdaysbut i havent seen an ad in over 10 years lol

i wish i knew about the internet before it was at this point, 2000-early 2010s internet seemed much better
