Your dorm looks like sterile shit mate. With the printed images it sorta looks like a really empty spacehey page. I think you can and should do a much better job, because if it isn't beautiful, then for the love of God why bother?
Get Pinterest and check out some good aesthetic. Myself, I'm imagining your walls covered in gilded frames, a bunch of indoor palms, and an antique cocktail cart.
Or... call me crazy... you could make it Uglycore. Break all your furniture, start chainsmoking, cover everything in a layer of filth and tar. It sounds counterintuitive, but it could really give the dorm some life.
