[TW: transphobic violence]

November 20 is Trans Day of Remembrance, where we remember all the trans people whose lives were taken too soon due to transphobia. It started after the murder of Rita Hester, a transgender woman, was murdered on November 28, 1998. 

At least 32 trans people were murdered this year. We’ve also seen a huge uprise in transphobic rhetoric this year thanks to the likes of Libs of TikTok, Matt Walsh, JK Rowling, Elon Musk, Ron DeSantis, and Greg Abbott. Thanks to them, we get called “groomers,” “pedophiles,” accused of “invading spaces,” sent death threats, swatted, doxxed, fired from our jobs, and most importantly, murdered. 

Trans people are not rapists, or groomers, or evil, or trying to take your sports/women’s/men’s spaces/whatever away. We just want to be ourselves in peace.

Libs of TikTok, Matt Walsh, JK Rowling, Elon Musk, Ron DeSantis, and Greg Abbott, as well as everyone who supports them, all have blood on their hands for what they have done. I hope one day, karma will come to these sorry excuses for human beings, and allow trans people to live in peace.
