As a gamer, I have been watching the Game Awards since its pathway to redemption in 2017. For gamers, it is our "Oscar" Type of show. I feel like this year's contenders are fucking hard, mostly because most games are pretty good. 

Game of the year

Quite frankly, they fucking with me this year. They have to put Xenoblade Chronicles 3 on that list which is SUPER RARE. However, I would go with Elden Ring. Also, wtf is Stray doing in this category?

Best game direction

I haven't seen or played Immortality, but I did hear about it. I feel that God of War or Horizon might get this since Sony studios are highly praised for their game directions. No sure about Stray.

Best Narrative

So let me get this straight, As Dusk Falls could not make it to this category? A game mainly surrounded by narrative? is selected for a game of impact but not this? Plague Tale might win this one if God Of War doesn't.

Best Art Direction

Hoooooooooooooly shit, they put Scorn in?! XD, Truth to be told, it does belong to this category, but I am not sure if everyone agrees with the type of grotesque and Macabre art Direction. Personally, I do want this to win because you never have this kind of art direction in many horror games. 

Best Score and Music

I do not give a shit what others think about what I have to say but I going biased: XENOBLADE. SHOULD. WIN. THIS. PERIOD. Great soundtrack in all other games, but Xenoblade stands out the most to me. 

Best Audio Design

Glad to see Grand Turismo there...if anything, Gran turismo games have a really good audio design. However, it might go to either Horizon or Call of Duty.

Best Peformance

Oh, what the fuck man, you have two voice actors from one game...that's not fair. The horizon seems to be a proper choice. My personal pick would be Charlotte Mcburney, I love her in the first game.

Best Indie

Very happy with Sifu here...needs more love and damn, Neon White made it. Unfortunately, Stray may win this one.

Best Action Game

Glad for Bayonetta 3 made it despite the whole shitshow at launch. Hard choice, uff. TMNT is also good. Maybe Sifu?

Best Action Adventure

Must be for Horizon or God of War. They are kings in that genre. 

Best Role Playing

Wow, how the fuck am I supposed to choose? I want Xenoblade 3 to win this but you have a monster like Elden Ring in this category. Not to mention, giving recognition to Live a Live and Triangle Strategy, very good RPGs.

Best fighting

I am glad fighting games are still making it into the awards. Multiversus might win this...and what the fuck is Sifu doing in here?

Best Family

So, you mean to tell me there were no more family-type games out there besides Nintendo games? I mean, like for real? Also Kirby deserved more love...

Best Sim/Strategy

Where the fuck is Triangle Strategy?

Best Multiplayer

Leading to Splatoon 3, which was a major success and improvement from 2. However, Multiversus might win this one.

Best Adaptation

Oh my god, why you guys hurt me like this? I want Cyberpunk: Edgerunners to win but Arcane is here...also Cuphead show is pretty good and Sonic 2 movie was the one movie trying to break the game-to-movie adaptation curse...Didn't heard anything about Uncharted.

Most Anticipated Game

So pretty good picks here. Personally, Zelda: Tears of the kingdom has my vote since is the only game I waiting for next year, Hogwarts Legacy being a close second. Starfield coming close too. 

So the Game Awards will be on December 8th with the pres show starting at 7:00pm (unconfirmed). It will be streaming online on youtube and twitch. I will be watching live given that they will announce games there. Also with the fact that rumors have it that the Mario Movie will have its second trailer at the Game Awards.

Let's hope they reduce the cringe this year, but given that is part of the show, I might be wrong.
