Motion is a fundamental expression of our Universe. From the smallest of particles to the largest galaxies, everything is in motion as the Universe continually expands and contracts, leaving nothing to stagnate.
Humans move. Body language, dance, sex, even a simple walk to work is an expression of our will and understanding of the universe. Our motion reflects higher and lower concepts, and we communicate to each other our love of life and all things through our continuous motion. To die is not to cease motion, but to ascend to a higher dance, that of earth itself, and the solar system. We are all merely pieces of the cosmos that broke off to express our joy at the mathematical symmetry of everything.
Our art depicts motion, and we use motion to create it. Motion is an end as well as a means, as simply to move is as meaningful as moving towards a goal. May we never stagnate, and may our joyous steps across the earth encourage others to shed their weights and dance.
