YES. WOODEN SPOONS HAVE A WEIRD TEXTURE AND MESS UP THE TASTE OF FOOD.

When I was a kid I had this wood spoon that I would suck on in the shower. It tasted so good the texture was amazing but It was only ever in the shower so I couldn’t suck on it anywhere else
