My usual maths teacher is pretty chill. But she's been off all week and never stated why. How substitute teachers work in my school is that they're from here and are called when they're on their free time. This means they don't want to be here and are useless when asking questions. But the sub for the past 2 lessons was an actual maths teacher who made you do the work set.
She seemed to be more pissed off today then yesterday, and kept telling off the girl in front of me for "disrupting the class" when she was being the quietest I ever heard her. She eventually got sent out the room and the sub gave a lecture to her about something; but I could only hear this last bit where she asked to go to the toilet and the sub was like:
"NoOoO yOu ShOuLd HaVe GoNe At LuNcH"
So you know, typically pissed off teacher stuff.
It was the last period on a Friday and at that point, literally nobody cares about anything. The teachers don't care. The students don't care. It was also flu season so everybody was coughing like there's no tomorrow.
I was doing my typical staring into space thing, but unlike the others she actually made me do the work. She would not go away unless I wrote something down. And this was a new topic too so I had no idea what I was writing; I was just copying everything on the board and the stuff she made me write. She was annoyed that she had to keep making me do work, and she said at one point:
"Can you please just do the work? I don't want to have to keep going back and forth."
I was really tempted to say "then just stop" but then I realised these types of teachers get pissed off at anything I say so I just stayed quiet and went back to fiddling with my hair. She was really starting to get on my nerves. She spoke in a harsh way and seemed to get really annoyed when someone is in the wrong chair. She also gave out hegarty maths as homework which I hate with a burning passion. She's going to be here next lesson too, so it's safe to assume she's here to stay, at least for a while.
I'm typing this on my phone in the after school rooms while waiting for mum as she's coming late.
