Thinking of trying out Dreamwidth

I'm thinking of trying out Dreamwidth, as it's also in some way a continuation of Ye Olde Sociale Media, but I'm not entirely sure what I would put on it or use it for. Does anyone else here use it? And if so, what do you use it for?
