x- base kandi cuff tutorial

(pictures used in this tutorial aren't mine but I hope they're still helpful)

So, to do this tutorial you will need:

pony beads (two different colors)

elastic/stretchy string

scissors

IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS DON'T HESITATE TO ASK!!!

now let's get started.

Now that you have everything, cut a really long piece of string. (if your string runs out at all while making, just tie another piece of string onto your string)

Next, grab your two different colors of pony beads. Decide which color will be your "connector" beads and which color will be your "base" beads. It doesn't matter which color is which.

next, make a regular bracelet the size of your wrist, stringing the beads on in this pattern: 2 base beads 1 connector bead. Keep stringing the beads on in that pattern until you are satisfied with the size then tie it off. cut the short end of the string off, leaving one long end.

Now, take the attached string and string it into the connector bead next to it. Once you've done that string a base bead on, then a connector bead, then a base bead.

now, string it into the next connector bead.

Once you've done that, you should have a triangle/point. If you don't you might have to shape it.

now put on a base bead, connector bead, and base bead, and string through the next connector bead. continue this pattern all around the bracelet.

Once you've done that, look at which bead your string is coming out of and the way it is going. Then, string through the base and connector bead of the triangle near the bead you're coming out of.

then repeat the process, stringing on a base bead, connector bead, and base bead and stringing through the connector bead on your triangles, until you've gone all the way around the cuff.

Once your done, and satisfied with the height (if you aren't, you can continue the process)

now, string through the base bead and connector bead nearest to the bead your coming out of

and string on two base beads, go through another connector and do this all around the cuff.

once you are done, tie it off.
