Cultural Exchange - 2017
We were both 16 & our first interaction was on Hello Talk. At that time I was obsessed with foreign cultures (Korean, Japanese, & Finnish specifically) & languages. I met some cool people there but nothing was better than having a close bond with them.
I was filtering the search bar on that app & came across his account. No pfp.. nothing.. but active..! I messaged him & i got an immediate response
He was going thru a rough time. From his perspective i was a distraction from his current situation, & was also his first foreign friend ㅠㅠ 🤎
Few years back kik was the shit, i made him download it bc I still used it 😝 ! He had a gift of always being so generous, maybe a bit of a people pleaser… (whatever i had a little crush because of that..)
We had a whole group chat with my friends & his. I may or may not exposed him to things i shouldn’t have… 😂 poor him.. he way too timid 🥺 (that time 😒)
I had the desire to get into his culture & he suggested we exchange snacks & other things. This is where our foundation to a future reconciliation began

After a few weeks he disappeared.. (now i know It was bc of his situation)
We meet again - May 2019
I always liked to talk too much & he matched the energy with his actions instead. I had the urge to socialize so I remember “oh yeah how’s he doing now…” & DMed him on insta because I was nosey
1 day of falling hard for him AGAIN 🤪😌 lets go !! 😎 I couldn’t hold myself back from flirting every 2 seconds. He’s not that timid boy anymore 😱 …
1-2 weeks later we’ve gotten in a relationship………. no… ….COURTSHIP !! 😭
Visit to the zoo & a proposal - July 2022
He visited the U.S. to see me & we had a good meet (My phone did turn off at the airport & i spent 30 min looking for him..)
Right after we got home he proposed to me tobget married in the future & This is my promise ring :

But tell me why.. ..of all these years living in my city.. this crackhead interrupts us to talk about where we can do the naughty & where she used to do it herself. We were just working out at the park at night & she came to us trying to have a “conversation” 😂
We also went to LA for a bit & we just see some dude nausing 😭 … let’s not forget the tent villages across LA.
Last but definitely one to remember. We went on a last minute trip to Santa Monica Pier. After closing hours we went to the Walk of Fame …club nightlife, & the smell of weed & piss was an unforgettable experience for him 😂 he said it reminded him of the zoo 🤣
Other than all of that we worked out almost daily ☺️ he made me breakfast at times & in the end he made me & my family dinner before he left 🥺
Our take off was kinda strong & fast but it was worth it, may not be for everybody btw so just a heads up 😭 (not even for me) & it wasn’t all positive …but it paid off 🙌🏼
