This post is way late!

It's somehow almost a week into November, but I'm just writing this out now...

(And, despite the onslaught of Christmas decorations which begin in November, my mind is still wrapped up in Halloween! 🎃)


Halloween afternoon tea with Duckie.

A week ago, we went together. 

And, because it was Halloween, we needed costumes!

Definitely, non-negotiable.

I decided quickly that morning to be a fairy   

This pink gingham dress is too reliable. I think if I were a cartoon character, this would be my default dress I was drawn in everyday.

And Duckie, also, was just too adorable:

Somehow, even though it was Halloween weekend, we were the only ones in attendance wearing costumes...

We won a contest, by default, without really meaning to.



Does it count if it's a win by default...?

But still, it was so sweet of the place to gift us a prize. 

(Maybe it's because it was Sunday and everyone partied the night before, but since this is supposed to be a fun and creative city, I think everyone should step up their own Halloween costume game!  )

It was so nice.

Before going out for tea, I'd been feeling a little glum.

That feeling didn't lift 100%, but something this fun and seasonable and adorable sure helped
