Buster and the AK-47s started in 2005, when I was a kid. my friend got some basic recording software and a cheap lavalier microphone from his high school band class and we made some goofy-ass recordings of what can politely be described as unrestrained creative expression.
later, we started to incorporate some other musically inclined friends and put something of a band together - with some rotating parts. we eventually played one show at a church after the release of our album 'The Church of Buster'.
after that my friends all went out of town for college, so I started playing drums for some other bands. but then we all started jamming together and Buster was born anew. this time, I had a mixer and microphones, so multi-tracking was possible.
cue a near decade of more unrestrained creative expression. the homies that didn't play anything handled the vocals and we kept the booze flowing. it was fun as fuck! but eventually more and more friends and collaborators moved away. so the rotating group kept on turning.
anyway, we make weird songs off the dome and get high now. we're growing up :')
