Dealing with disappointment and demotivation.

I've been trying to get back into creative writing lately, to build a portfolio I applied to help write character dialogue / quest dialogue for a Skyrim mod the other week.

My application was denied as my writing style didn't match what they were looking for. Which you know, is completely fair but I'd be lying if I said it didn't leave me a little demotivated and disappointed, minor as it is.

Have any of you guys dealt with a creative block / demotivation after getting some feedback? If so, how have you moved past it?
