having a friend that can't hear can be kinda funny sometimes

So for context, my friend  at school is deaf. This is just about the funny things that have happened because of that specific feature, but they're a lot more than just that, yknow.

We had an assembly today, and a school staff member yelled super loud for our attention. I jumped, and so she looked at me a bit confused, so i wrote down what happened lol

Then there's also how right now, I was walking to class with them, but then the bell rang. I didn't want to be late to our class that we have together, so I'm like WE HAVE TO HURRY THE BELL RANG, but I was moving too much for them to lip read, so they kept walking slowly as I was trying to get them to go hastily with me 💀
