my trip to Japan in pictures.

PROS:

1. Tons of people ride bikes and most times they don’t even lock them up when they go into a store or restaurant because no one steals stuff there.

2. Most people are really quiet when in public. You could be on a train with 100 others nearby and it’s crickets because they have respect for people around them.

3. The streets are super clean, no trash and people don’t flick their cigarette butts everywhere.

4. They have really cool toilets. Every single one has a bidet and most of them have heated seats, some even have a dryer for your bum.

5. Everyone knows that when they ride on escalators there’s an unwritten rule that if you’re not in a hurry you stand on the left. That way if you’re rushing then you can easily walk past on the right.

6. The news on tv is delivered in a calm manner and not panicky or embellished at all.

7. Almost no homelessness at all and there’s not cops everywhere because the crime is so low.

8. Everybody rides public transportation because it’s extremely dependable and there’s not much need to own a car (in Tokyo).

9. The food is super cheap and you don’t tip in restaurants because the employees actually get a living wage without depending on tips.

12. Not really any fat people.

CONS:

1. There aren’t too many public trash cans, so one time I carried around a receipt for 3 hours cause there was nowhere to throw it away.

Got to thank you big time, buddy. I’ve been on your ass about posting pictures. From what I can see you guys had times all around with real good food too. Japan is a culture shock for many Americans. Are we the greatest country in the world. I don’t know. We can boast but the reality is something way different.

Thanks again ...
