So, I told you all about how I was going to tell you about my ADVENTURES!
That time is now.
So, as you might know, I play tabletop role-playing games! It's all a whole lot of fun, being able to think and act like a different person. The creative problem-solving is also amazing! After all, just as there's more than one way to cook a dish, there's more than one way to solve any problem.
I'm in a few games right now, owing to the versatility of play-by-post games. The games I'm in that see the most activity involve the characters Farspell, Image, and Moonstone. Names have been somewhat edited. So, you're probably going to hear the most about these characters. It's a fun way to chronicle things.
Farspell features in a Dungeons & Dragons Basic Set game -- the "Blue Box" written by John Eric Holmes, M.D.. She's a Human Magic-User.
Moonstone features in a game that's an experiment by a Game Master in combining Editions. I chose Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 2nd Edition for her. She's a Half-Elven Mage -- no specialisations, I've always felt like specialisation in a school of magic kind of imposed too many limitations on your spellcasting. Even the most "useless" school has useful spells, after all. I also dislike how Wild Mages were handled in 2nd Edition, hence my not taking on that subclass... She is accompanied by a Short-Eared Owl named Orbit.
"Image" as she calls herself, is a Half-Elven Warlock of the Celestial in Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition rules. Her background is Criminal, and she was primarily a smuggler.
With that all being said, I'll be sure to fill you in on their separate adventures in the afternoon!

SCARY WIZARD
@Byron Aw, man, that sucks. If you've got a mind for it, check out West Marches on RPG Crossing, or Adventurers League on Myth-Weavers. If you're really lucky, you can sometimes find Game Masters willing to run solo games on any of the places I mentioned in my last post.

Sportsball Supreme Overlord Byron
Awesome! My dormant D&D character is named Lord Jon-Onyon, Esquire, and is lifted from my Skyrim character. Can't remember what class he was supposed to be in, though. The campaign I joined at my local library got squelched by Covid.
