Moose! (and everything you need to know about them)

Moose r pretty awesome I wont lie

starting with the obvious things. THEYRE THE LARGEST DEER SPECIES!! (growing up to 1.8 meters long and can weigh as much as 544 kilograms!)

Moose are calm animals by nature, but somehow being in urban areas makes them go bonkers and batshit crazy.

OK lets talk about the antlers, only males have them and they can get as big as your momma! (antlers can grow up to 1.5 meters wide!) I wont lie female moose look kinda hilarious antler-less.

Ok now another thing seperating males n females is a thing called a dewlap (kinda silly name) and only males have it, its genuienly just a dangly thing under their jaw, and somehow it can indicate dominance level!? bonkers. Idk what idiot needs to hear this but moose are obviously herbivores, they eat shrubs and bark and whatever other plant it can find. During summer they can consume 14 kg per day and during winter its 32 kg (fatasses)

Even if they are fat lil fellas, they are EXTREMLY good swimmers (wow!) they can swim for several kilometers and be underwater for at least 30 seconds (more than I can do, gg)
