public apology + squid of the day: whiplash squid family

i would like to start off this SOTD with an apology to everyone. there has been no SOTD for some time now, and i know without it many have struggled emotionally, mentally, and physically. to all the casualties i have caused in my absence, i am sorry. please DM me if i need to write any euologies.

these guys look more like dental floss holders than squids, with 2 very long retractable tentacles covered in suckers for prey to stick to. they're a little bit like sticky fly strips. members of this squid family even have these tentacles covered in tiny teeth, and little is known about how they are legitimately used in feeding. they also have biolumiscent eyes, the freaks..
