Normally, when people wonder if I like the horror genre, I answer "no, I don't." But that's not true, I don't like jumpscare. I think Jumpscare is a cheap trick that triggers reflexes more than fear. There are those who defend games like fnaf to me. When fnaf was famous, there were times when I felt like the genre of horror was insulted, everyone was after a jumpscare, even outlast was an insult to the genre of horror. Personally, when I played fnaf, I got so tired of jumpscares at one point that even my reflex wasn't triggered anymore. What is fear, contrary to what we now misunderstand? It is fear that "Mr.X" from "resident evil" chases you at slow speed and you know that he is after you and you get nervous according to him. The lack of jumpscare in the first movie of "Silent Hill" is scary. The feeling of experiencing fear on the liminal in the movie "The Shining" is fear.

I want to talk about something that I think is the right time for. Fear.
