why do I want a bodysuit so bad?

So thanks to a post I saw on Twitter, I really want a bodysuit (specifically a unitard [aka catsuit]), but my body won't really allow it.

While I'd love to get a latex bodysuit, they require a lot of maintenance and are prohibitively expensive. The route I'd go down is to get a lycra or spandex bodysuit, maybe one that's metallic. However, while I could reasonably afford a spandex bodysuit, I wouldn't like the way I look in one.

Yeah, I think I'd look absolutely fantastic in a Cyberpunk-esque bodysuit (something like the Galactica bodysuit from Libidex [WARNING for 18+ content elsewhere]), I have a significant stomach bulge. I find this really screws up how I look in crop tops or anything skintight. I guess I could get away with wearing a shirt over the suit...
