advice on doing art commissions?

(hi, this is my first post so forgive me if its wonky lol)

my main questions are:

is it generally acceptable/not difficult to do commissions for money on here? im worried id post about opening commissions and receive no response lol.

how should payment transfer go? ive never done art commissions before so im wondering what the best way to go about this is
