oh the memory

just read a fantastic article, primarily about the author's young childhood. it got me thinking about how incredibly shitty my memory is. anything past a few months ago is an extreme abstract, only coming back as concepts and events. i can barely remember what my breakfast tasted like yesterday. hell, can barely remember what i had for breakfast yesterday. orson welles could remember having dinner with adolf hitler at age 8. what a weird guy he was
