So, I'm writing a book

At the beginning of this year, I started working on an interactive fiction project called On the Ground. It has taken up all of my creative energy all year and has really become something so dear to me. With Nanowrimo coming up, I've decided to set it aside for the month of November and work on something entirely new. It's been a fun and exciting process so far as I've been plotting and networking with other participants during October. 

I'm jumping genres on this one too. Where my IF is a cyberpunk romance, this book with be a pirate adventure fantasy. I think I have some fun things lined up in the outline and I'm really itching to get started on the writing. My main goal (outside of the 50k words) is to just start forming some good writing habits. I have been all over the place with my writing this year and I want to start taking it more seriously and get some manuscripts finished.

I don't really know yet how I'm going to use this space. It feels nice to have this public but not popular space to keep track of my progress so I might continue to update here.
