Birthday

Maybe it's just me but if feel the older you get the more melo birthdays become. The day feels special but it's not too different than a regular day. I feel happy but calm, when I was younger I would jump around, but now I don't even care if I get presents or not I just want to eat good food.

It was my birthday the past weekend and all I did was eat cake and buy some stickers and I still felt content. When you are younger birthdays are magical, you wake up different. I don't feel sad about it, It's just something I've been reminiscing, being in my early 20's now I can't help but compare to my 10's.

Thinking of my childhood lead me to think of my childhoods friends, I've been wondering how they are doing, what could they be doing right now? It's odd being part of someone's life, sharing your deepest thoughts and secrets with them, doing everything together, then you grow up and become strangers who may not even recognise each other if you saw them on the street.
