i hate french i hate french jesus christ fucking hell help i hate french omg-

for most of my school years, i've advocated for and defended french. i don't know if it's normal elsewhere in the uk, but in my school certainly there was a joking detest of the french people and language. obvs all joking, but still i always defended french and said it was a good subject.

cut to me now, about a month and a half into college, and regretting choosing french as an a-level more than i regret being a renowned danganronpa fanfic writer on wattpad. i have genuinely skipped more lessons that i've been to and i've requested to change subjects, and hopefully it's not too late.

i'm writing this to complain, and also as a word of warning for my english friends still in secondary school: DO NOT TAKE FRENCH AS AN A-LEVEL. you will regret it. perhaps not immediately, but goddamn you will regret it.

i believe in the forceful removal of the french. /j
