Hello readers,
At age 22 I finally got my drivers license. That might seem late but let me explain.
So going back to the beginning I grew up in a small town in Nova Scotia Canada. Everything was within walking distance so I didn’t feel the need to get my license plus I didn’t have a job and it was deemed too expensive. I got my first job at age 18 working at McDonald’s as most people did, I was thinking about my license at that time but I pushed it off because I had better things to do. I moved across the country in 2020 in the middle of the Covid outbreak because they offered me a job for more money and I took it. I’ve been living out here for two years now and I finally decided to go for it. It took me three try’s, the first two I got pretty low scores then the third attempt I got a perfect score so overall I’m pretty happy, I always thought I would feel different once I got it but now that I have it I don’t feel any more free or like I can do anything more so then I could do by just walking places. But I’m excited for this new chapter in my life.
Thank you for reading:)
